Beka Shiver
Beka Shiver is the Economic Development and Transportation Planner for the Southwest Georgia Regional Commission (EDD). In her role, she is responsible for maintaining all EDA grants for the SWGRC and assisting with economic development activities in the region. Beka also leads Project 7 for the Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing grant, a state-wide initiative aimed at advancing manufacturing in Georgia. With a focus on preparation, communication, and follow-through, Beka works to create and sustain opportunities for economic growth in Southwest Georgia. Her approach combines old-school organization methods with innovative strategies to drive community development.
