Kristen Gamboa, is the Senior Economic Developer for the Village of Los Lunas. She has been instrumental in helping existing businesses expand and grow, as well actively market and bring in new economic-base businesses to the second fastest growing community in New Mexico, outside of Albuquerque.
Prior to this position, Kristen was the Director of Business Development for the New Mexico Partnership where she actively engaged with companies, C-suite executives, and site consultants looking for expansion, relocation, or new project opportunities across the Land of Enchantment otherwise known as the great State of New Mexico.
Born and raised four hours south in El Paso, Texas, Kristen is a proud University of New Mexico graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Management. An avid learner, Kristen also holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Organizational Management and another in Psychology.
A proud Valencia County resident she also dedicates her time and serves on the Board of several civic and service-minded groups: New Mexico Industrial Developers and Executives Association, Middle Rio Grande Economic Development Alliance, Workforce Connections of Central New Mexico, Valencia County Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central New Mexico, Kiwanis Club of Los Lunas, Pilot Club of Los Lunas, and the Rotary Club of Los Lunas.
