Lisa is a woman who speaks from the heart, with a results-driven focus. She is a senior executive, former General Counsel of a publicly traded insurance company, former CHRO, public speaker, author and community leader.
Lisa received her B.S. degree from New York University and her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and is a member of the Florida Bar, District of Columbia Bar and the New York Bar. She is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is the Past Chair of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and currently sits on the Boards of FCCI Insurance Group and the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. Lisa previously sat on the boards of Habitat for Humanity, Career Source Suncoast, Teen Court, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, All Faiths Food Bank, and the advisory boards of USF and FSU. She served as District Director for HR Florida and is past president of the Sarasota/Manatee Human Resources Association.
Lisa is also a contributing author, along with Donna Shalala and Alice Dye, of Teeing Up For Success, a compilation of stories of insight and inspiration from women on how they have used the game of golf to achieve their goals. In her personal life, Lisa is the proud mother to daughter Megan, also an attorney and graduate of the University of Miami, son Ian, a graduate of Notre Dame and holds an MBA and is Grandma to sweet baby Sophia.
