Mark joined KathodeRay with over 25 years of experience in marketing & selling products and service-solutions to businesses, consumers, and government agencies. He has led creative & production teams in advertising, technology, manufacturing, and distribution companies from start-ups to major industry players.
Mark’s diverse skill-set enables him to understand a client’s business holistically, identify goals and challenges, and develop campaigns that deliver measurable results and tangible return on investment. A life-long producer, Mark finds the ‘Inherent Truth’ within a product or service, then creates the compelling story of its value and benefit to the specific needs of your most desirable customers.
Mark was born in Catskill, NY, and grew up in Greene County. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in History, Literature, Theatre, & Music, he relocated to Central New York in 1985. There he worked with both small specialty businesses and iconic brands like: Acer, Canon, Epson, Garmin, HP, Kodak, Lexar, Nikon, Olympus & SanDisk. He now applies the acumen and experience he gained nationally, to serving the needs of organizations seeking to compete in a digital age.
Mark is delighted to be back in Greene County, and bullish about growing the economy of the Hudson Valley. A singer/songwriter since high school, with more performances than he’d prefer to admit, Mark refers to himself as a ‘recovering musician’ who enjoys mentoring young writers, players, and producers at every opportunity. He is an avid amateur historian, anglophile, and fan of Public Broadcasting. He and his wife Nancy are very active in AKC Conformation Competition: Breeding and exhibiting their nationally ranked Saint Bernards and Norwich Terriers, and; Producing annual Saint Bernard Specialty dog shows.
