Mike Kamerlander serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hays Caldwell Economic Development Partnership (HCEDP). With more than 15 years of economic development experience, he has led transformative initiatives, built strong public-private partnerships, and delivered measurable results across Central Texas.
Prior to joining HCEDP, Kamerlander served as Director of Lockhart Economic Development and previously held leadership roles with the City of San Antonio, the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation, and the Greater San Marcos Partnership. He earned his Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation in 2019 and holds a bachelor’s degree in government from The University of Texas at Austin. Originally from Orlando, Florida, he has lived and worked in the Austin region for more than 20 years.
