Dane Carlson is the host of the Econ Dev Show, and the Director of Economic Development for Galveston County, Texas.
In 2001 he founded the Business Opportunities Weblog, which was acquired in 2015.
He lives in League City, Texas with his wife, three sons (18,15 and 12), a cat (Cinder), a dog (Murphy), and his parents.
Fun fact: Mrs. Carlson let Dane let the internet name sons #2 and #3.
Another fun fact: Dane and his family began the COVID pandemic without the cat, the dog, and Dane's parents.
